Harry J. Keys fifty five year old veteran cartoonist for the Columbus Dispatch was found dead in a Hotel Lexington room. Police call the death an apparent self inflicted action but cannot determine the cause yet. His wife Ruth fifty eight is in critical condition from possible barbiturate poisoning and was found unconscious in the same room. Keys left Columbus Saturday for a short New York vacation. Detective James Flynn said a bottle of sleeping tablets and another amber fluid were found in the room and are being analyzed.
