Mason Petition Is Filed by Rural Group Flea Market?

Mason County court reversed planned cuts to the county agent’s office after a delegation of farm bureau members pressed for funds. The court boosted next year’s appropriation to 900 dollars, with 300 for office expenses and 50 per month for the county agent’s salary. The decision followed months of misunderstanding about the total and use of the funds. A large petition signed by numerous local residents, including many Roush family members, accompanied the request. About half the petitioners attended the hearing to seek a more liberal appropriation.
