Harley Named To Lead Group Monday Night
Meigs County Republicans clash over control of the party central committee after May elections. At a Monday gathering, the opposing faction named Mayor E Harley of Middleport as chairman, echoing a past pattern where the earlier Russell group prevailed. Proponents say state central committee recognition may come via Commiteeman Davis. Opponents recall a similar failed bid.
