A sequence of weekend to Monday calls shows ACSO responding to cattle in the road near The Plains, gas-out towing support on SR 56 in Athens, theft report at 28 Grant St The Plains, elderly Alzheimer check at SR 68 Athens, trespass and nuisance complaints in New Marshfield and Chauncey, firearm and narcotics notes, and a vehicle breaking and entering case. Deputies issued a no further action stance in several incidents while documenting reports and issuing a marijuana evidence seizure from a high speed ATV stop. No single dominant incident, but frequent patrols across The Plains, Athens, Coolville, Glouster, and Chauncey with multiple family, property, and safety concerns.
