The Middleport Park Association hosts the first summer record hop at Middleport Community Park on Saturday night from 8 to 11. The program will continue with weekly Tuesday night dances starting next week.
The Middleport emergency squad responded at 2 16 p m Tuesday to Millers Restaurant on North Second Avenue where Paula Burns was ill She was taken to a local physician for treatment.
