Fred Beasley announced a five member expansion to the Sheltering Arms Hospital fund drive major gifts committee led by Dwight Rutherford. Four section chairs will guide memorials, corporate gifts, commercial gifts and individual gifts with 39 members per section.

A Common Pleas Court jury on Monday found Alan Miller of Nelsonville not guilty of grand larceny. Brouse of the Villa Club had accused Miller of stealing 300 dollars on March 15 from a tavern cash register. Cutler Hall to be Named National Historic Landmark at OHIO
