Nelsonville Alumni Banquet Draws 200 plus attendees
More than 200 members of Nelsonville High School alumni gathered Saturday at First Methodist Church for the 86th alumni banquet. The event marked the Class of 1964 becoming alumni and hosted eight class reunions with noted honorees including the oldest attendee Mrs. Clara Bateman and the farthest travelers Mrs. Ada Williams and Mrs. Mary Hagen.

Logan High School held commencement exercises last week with Dr. Fred E. Luchs delivering the address. Five honor students earned perfect 4.0 averages: Robert Dean Eaton Sarah Holmes Elberfeld Freda Louise Ellinger Jane Krinn Holloway and Carol Ann Lehman. Salutatorian William Edward Rutter gave the welcome as diplomas were presented by George Blosser.
