Miner John Bowen jailed after train disruption near Glen Ebon
John Bowen a Glenter miner intoxicated on Friday refused to leave the southbound Hocking Valley train at Glen Ebon. Conductor Barnes handcuffed him, Bowen threw slag at a mail car, was taken to Athens and jailed. He waived examination and was bound over to court on a 2500 bond, awaiting November term.
