Gallia County Road Budget Cut By 15000 Annually

Gallia County will lose 15000 dollars annually from its road budget due to a gasoline tax cut. County Surveyor C E Fife was informed by State Auditor Joseph T Tracy that 1933 funds would be 50 000 to 60 000 dollars. The tax shift from four to three cents per gallon plus a new liquid fuel tax causes a 25 percent revenue drop for roads shared across the county.
