Assault Charges Dropped Against Former Glouster Officer
The case against John Barrett of Glouster on assault with intent to kill was dismissed by Athens County Common Pleas Judge John W. Bolin on a motion by Prosecuting Attorney Claire M. Ball Jr. Barrett and Iva Clemons, once married, had remarried last March and Clemons did not want to pursue the case. Court costs charged to the plaintiff. Athens Kiwanis Club President Dale Leach announced Aug 8 family dinners and outings as Kiwanis International and the Freedoms Foundation sponsor Family Reunion Day nationwide.
