Ames Township Church Plan and School Contract Report
On June 23 the Building Committee met near G M McDougal’s and sold the old schoolhouse in District No 4 Ames township and let a contract for a new one. The bid went to A T McCune lowest. Neighbors chose BE H Brawley Daniel Hixon and A Matteson to head a church committee for a graveyard area. Donations from locals raised about 800 with McDougal leading with 100 plus land. Rev Lemaster has the subscription paper and aims to complete the church soon.
