NEW PHILADELPHIA O July 14 10P Senator W G Nickels head of the Ohio Senate economy committee will urge a special session to cut the gasoline tax from four to three cents per gallon by diverting half a cent from new highway construction and half a cent from repair maintenance for at least two years or while the federal tax of one cent remains. The plan may reduce new highway construction but will little hardship on highways and save about nine million dollars for Ohio citizens.
