Divorcee's body found in rural churchyard near Marion
The nearly nude 25 year old divorcee Mrs Zora Gerbes of Marion mother of three was found dead in the St Pauls Lutheran Church churchyard five miles east of Marion on Route 98. A rope clothesline was tied around her neck and around the legs. Sheriff Leroy Retterer identified the victim and said two bruises were the only marks on the body.
