Narrow escape for hundreds on Ohio Central train near Rendville
Information from a Saturday incident reports passenger train No 8 approaching the Moxahala tunnel when a multi ton boulder crashed down the hillside within feet of the engine pilot. The rock loosened by wind storms barely avoided a wreck as the train slowed to pass. Engine and baggage car were damaged and a yard engine hauled the train to Corning.

General Grosvenor Seeks Athens County Picnic Attendance
