Jury's Appeal Upheld in Walters Wallace Contract Case
The Court of Appeals upheld a jury verdict in favor of Harold M. and Luella M. Walters against E. R. Wallace in a 1951 breach of contract suit. Wallace is said to have provided a lot and materials for a house while the Walters handled labor, with a mortgage arrangement until payment. The appellate court found errors and ruled the defense attempted to confuse facts with extraneous matter.
