Nike co founder Knight to step down as chairman
Nike chairman Phil Knight, 77, plans to relinquish the role and hand leadership to President and CEO Mark Parker in 2016. Knight will remain involved, transfer most Nike stock to Swoosh LLC, and keep governance strong with a board including Parker Alan Graf and John Donahoe. Travis Knight was named to Nike's board amid the transition.
