Athens High School Organizations Succeed This Year
Athens Eagle notes a hive of activity at Athens High School with fifteen clubs chartered by the Student Council in 1925. The Megaphone and Arena publications continued, the Latin and Radio clubs were discontinued, and new groups like the Manual Arts Club, Math Club, Art Club, and Dramatic Club thrived alongside the National Honor Society and Hit and Girt Reserve. The sixth period proves popular, and the Open Forum has ended. The story hints at a dramatic, ongoing school narrative with social clubs, debates, and budding student leadership.
