Columbus January 25 Frazier Reams sought more prisoners from Ohio Penitentiary under orders of Governor Davey to probe charges by Jimmy Wilson about narcotics inside the prison and reprisals against witnesses. Wilson said convicts testified against Warden Thomas faced solitary confinement and harsh fates as flames raged in the 1930 Easter Monday fire. He claimed a guard blocked tools to free doomed inmates and that Bill Noel released 140 prisoners who would have burned. L A Sears municipal manager of Oberlin Ot explained at Athens High School last night how Oberlin created a municipal electric light plant. He noted the public utility company’s three year franchise and reduced rates, and that the municipal plant now serves 8 percent of consumers but 91 percent of consumption.
