The 1960 census office for Ohio's 10th District will be in Athens at 642 W. State St and open Jan 22. Adrian Harmony is district supervisor, staff includes clerks and general clerks. About 252 enumerators and 15 crew leaders will be hired for the district with training and testing in February and March.

Danelle McCafferty an 18 year old Ohio University freshman from Barbertown sustained an eyebrow injury Tuesday morning after a fall at the OU Ice Rink. She was transported by the fire department emergency squad to OU Health Center after the incident was reported at 10 50 am.
