An astronomy park named for late Senator John Glenn is planned at Hocking Hills State Park. Funded privately by Friends of the Hocking Hills State Park, it will include an 8 foot solar plaza and a rolling-roof observatory with a telescope. About $1.6 million has been raised with $800,000 remaining in phase two.
