Boston February report says Andrew 33 of Worcester was attacked near the Copley Plaza shortly after 2 PM as he tried to reach a president's suite. Police and hotel staff responded to the disturbance.
Hoyt J. Ashton of Athens R D 7 died in France on January 28 when a timed hand grenade exploded after he snapped it. His younger brother John was with him in Battery B of the 136th field artillery. Several other Battery B men were injured but not seriously. Ashton was buried with full military honors in the American cemetery behind the small church at Thillonbots.
Police in Traverse City Michigan search for three suspects and a motive in the killing of Sister Mary Johns of the Isadore convent. Jacob Flees admits helping dig up the body and burying it in a nearby cemetery as authorities exhume the remains for evidence in the case. The nun came from Chicago and joined the Isadore convent in 1906 and disappeared a year later with only a faint trace found until Saturday.
Paris February twenty four Premier Clemenceau was reported out of danger after being shot by an assassin. The bulletin said he is improving though restless from inactivity. His temperature stood at 36.6 C and he may resume duties. gendarmes dispersed youths with a red flag shouting down with Clemenceau.

Frank Nelson, born in Cutler Washington County, aged about sixty, recently from service in France, spent Sunday with friend John Roan then visited sister Effie Nelson in Parkersburg and brother T. J.
