Logan Council Reviews Ohio Fire Insurance Rates And Levies
Logan City Council received an outline on how Ohio fire insurance rates are determined and the department's needs for improved equipment and manpower. Joe Jones of Insurance Services Office outlined Class 1 requirements, noting Logan currently has 750 gpm pumpers and no ladder truck. The council discussed a possible levy for fire department improvements and heard safety committee findings. Terrain Vehicle Stolen and Damaged Near Nelsonville
An all terrain vehicle was stolen from the yard of Clyde and Mrs. Lanning on Dorr Run Road between 8 and 8:30 p.m. Monday. It was later found rolled off its trailer along U.S. 33 west of Nelsonville, with heavy damage. The trailer is missing. the theft occurred after the ATV was not tied down.
