Canton Fire Claims Mother and Three Children
A Canton area fire killed 35 year old Mrs. Lela Blair and her three youngsters, Roger 8 Nancy 5 and Starler 2, after she and the father rescued others. The husband escaped with a sixth child and two daughters were treated at Timken Mercy and released while another was kept for observation. Fire origin unknown and volunteers from three companies fought the blaze on Columbus Road N E, four miles northeast of Canton.
