Mansfield Museum Exhumes Odds, Ends for Young Reporter
A visiting youth reporter tours the Mansfield Museum in Athens, marveling at a chaotic collection of Civil War cannons, a German sea captain’s 350 year old watch, colonial relics, Orient artifacts, and a curious West exhibit. The cluttered rooms display items from Ohio University programs to Madison land grants, red coats, and a 1433 gun, with workers eager to return for more in two years.
