Retail Milk Prices In Ohio Still High
Ohio retail milk prices remain too high compared with the farmers' returns. Governor White's milk commission, after hearings across the state with producers dealers and co operative groups, urges farmer organization to bargain for cost of production. Farm price declines since 1914 do not match retail gains, and lack of unified bargaining leaves producers absorbing much of the decline.
