Keplar 22 of 834 Third St will start as temporary patrolman Jan 16 to fill Lieutenant Cullison’s vacancy while he attends the University of Cincinnati. John Wells was appointed acting lieutenant during Cullison’s absence. Keplar, a Logan High School graduate, is a full time student at Hocking Technical College in police science and has completed 1.5 years of training. he is a Logan police reserve member and has worked there since May 1960.
