HAIFA Israel Ex crement mounted in Haifa today as five vessels believed to be French gunboats neared Israel's chief port. Crowds gathered on Mt Carmel slopes to watch the ships slip from Charbourgry Christmas Day in defiance of an arms embargo.
Federal judge in Nashville ordered state officials to create a plan of recreation work and exercise for James Barths during a nine year sentence for staying Dr. Martin Luther King. The judge urged a practical program following a Monday hearing on release from maximum security confinement.
