About 90 children of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 3467 auxiliary and social members were feted at the VEW post home in Nelsonville Sunday afternoon. Letart Man Dies at 77 in Mountain State Hospital
Letart native Albert R. Johnson, 77, formerly of Nelsonville and Athens, received a special service pin from Columbus and Southern Ohio Electric for his long career with the utility. He joined The Hocking Power Company in 1998 and earlier worked with Southern Ohio Electric in Athens 1929 1951 before transferring to Chillicothe as a right of way agent. Johnson was active in the Chillicothe Chamber of Commerce and the Masonic lodge and Elks in Athens.
