Misused Funds Exception and Not the Rule
The Rev. Albert Dittes defends church fundraising amid scandals in televangelism. He notes Athens and Pomeroy members will give about $2,000 to the Adventists worldwide work, emphasizing local church use for worship houses schools and welfare, not salaries. He appeals to scripture about tithes and blessings, urging continued generosity.
