Alaska woman offers to pay Wheatley family hospital bill

Mrs. Hazel Burgos of Anchorage offers to cover the Wheatleys hospital bill and buy Christmas presents for their two children. Jim and Pam Wheatley from Chauncey decline the offer saying others are worse off. Burgos says she wanted to boost their morale though she understands the decision. The Wheatleys plan Christmas with Pam’s parents and job hunting for Mrs. Wheatley next week.
