Vinton County officials told commissioners that the 90 year old Tinker Road Covered Bridge can carry school buses. A driver asked children to walk across, but highway officials say the sign limits the vehicle load, not the bus plus its cargo. Workers repaired bridge abutments and stringers to preserve it.
Mr and Mrs Rob ert Holland spent the weekend with Mr and Mrs Bob Mulford and daughter in Columbus. Charles Roush Addison visited. Homer Tate on 28 day leave with his parents.
