Fred Richards Dies in Pomeroy After Stroke
Fred B Richards 7% prominent Pomeroy resident died Monday at 8 o clock from a second stroke. He and his wife cared for Mrs Bradbury, sister of Mrs Richards, for months as all three were invalids. The couple, longtime Maine natives, owned property in Pt Pleasant and moved to Pomeroy after Mr Bradbury’s death. He was a leading ranger at the local Presbyterian church and a member of the Pomeroy Knights of Pythias. No funeral details available.
