Two Needle Clubs Elect Officers And Celebrate
Athens society notes two needle clubs held Christmas gatherings on Tuesday. The Athens Needle Club elected officers with Mrs W L Gard as president and Mrs J E Beckley as vice president. Earlier, the Tuesday club met at Mrs Maude Kittemiller’s home for Christmas stories and gifts to aid the County Childhood Welfare Committee. The King’s Daughters and Wesleyan Service Guild plan a Friday 7 p m meeting at the Van Dyke home with a special Christmas program.
