New Center Opens At Revco With Miniature Train
Revco Discount Drugstore at 16 S Court St opens a pharmacy center with a miniature railway. Two electric engines move prescription orders from cashier to pharmacist Carl Cotner of McArthur, a 1921 OSU Pharmacy graduate, who fills orders and returns them by rail. Revco notes 117 stores in four states fill a prescription every six seconds on an average three and a half minutes. District Manager Meldin Richards will assist Cotner in the new setup.
