Sixth Person Is Dead After Hollister Crash
The last survivor in Friday nights head on crash at Hollister died last night bringing total fatalities in the mishap to six. Pearl Morrison died at Sheltering Arms Hospital in Athens County in what authorities call the worst traffic accident in local history. Six people were involved in the Route 78 collision three teenage girls were killed outright and two men died in hospital the next day. Five others in a third car were unhurt. Morrison’s condition worsened from severe shock and heart failure as doctors reported him in very critical shape. Funeral services are set for Friday at the Redtown Free Methodist Church with burial in Maplewood cemetery.
