They were bound over to September session on charges of failing to provide proper home care and released on their own recognizance. County nurse Mrs Sthel Wallace had filed the case. Blazer, the county home superintendent, said the child is in a serious state from starvation but is expected to recover. The Hoeters offered $2.50 a week support and asked to take the boy back, but Blazer refused until proper care is assured. The boy, blue eyed and blond, has learned a few words.
