Miss Mary Ferriter died Monday afternoon at the state hospital where she had been confined for some time. She was 41 years old. Funeral services were held here yesterday at St Pauls church conducted by Rev Ross of Gloucester. Sermons followed at the Catholic cemetery.

Romine Injured at B&O Depot Fall
Frank Romine of Frost was crushed by wheels while trying to board a train at the B and O depot. Three toes on his right foot were crushed and a toe on his left foot broken. Rescued and taken to the Munn hotel for treatment by Dr. J. Henry and Dr. C. S. McDougall. He returned home the next day.

Death of Mrs Knowlton in Cincinnati hospital
Mary Knowlton aged 35 died Sunday in a Cincinnati hospital after a few days of treatment from a complication of diseases. Remains were brought to Athens Sunday afternoon and laid to rest at Lee Chapel in Lee Township. She was a resident of Lee Township and the widow of the late Frank Knowlton. She left several children.

Rathbone Sisters Lodge Formed at Glouster Meeting
The Rathbone Sisters met at the K of P Hall on Friday night and installed officers, followed by refreshments of ice cream cake coffee and lemonade. Thirty ladies from Glouster attended as the lodge grew to twenty four sisters and eight sister ones. Fifteen members are needed to secure the charter. Postmaster Suicide After Shortage Scandal in Fairfield County
Postmaster Inspector J F Oldtelts, stationed at Athens, returned from Daltmore to report that Postmaster Price of Fairfield County shot himself Friday afternoon after a 250 shortage was found in his books. He fled home after an exit and died soon after. Price, esteemed local businessman, was 45 years old. bondsmen were prepared to cover the shortage amid suspected domestic trouble.

August 7报道Harry Van Atta civil engineer for Nejonville died after attempting to rescue Charles Rodehaver from a sewer manhole where both men fell unconscious due to sewer gas.
