Gallia County common pleas court received a petition from J&J Auto Parts of Gallipolis seeking a judgment of 489.83 against Lon McClellan of Vin ton plus six percent interest from December 26, 1961 and court costs. Judge Robert M. Betz issued judgments in three other suits: D S Recovery Service to recover 1551.24 from Edgar White Jr of Cheshire, six percent interest from April 18, 1960 and costs. D S Recovery Service to recover 557.36 from Lloyd Lee of Longsville Route 1 and from L Claude Miller of Gallipolis. to recover 3360 from Sid and Marie Vance of Columbus with six percent interest from December 5, 1959 and costs. Lonnie Safford and Robert Jackson of Point Pleasant dismissed their suit against Garland Loftus of Gallipolis for 363.

A Syracuse gathering at Forked Run Lake on August 19 celebrated the birthdays of Pearl McBride and Debbie Cundiff with many relatives and friends from Columbus Woodsfield Racine and Tuppers Plains. Separately the Mountain Iron and Supply Co. v William C Bradley case in Salem West Virginia was settled and the Common Pleas Court dismissed the attachment action filed May 29.
