Ritchie set bond at 15000 after earlier hearing that raised to 25000. Day is charged with burglary of the law office of Smith Aker Effier Eastman. The judge said she may be held as a witness in another matter.
The $2,000,000 Chaplin divorce faced possible dissolution over a $35,000 receiver fee miscalculation. Charles Chaplin and former wife Lita Grey Chaplin are named in the dispute as attorneys contend the fee is excessive for Mrs. Chaplin to cover.
