The Athens fair grounds buzz with activity as entry books for farm products and stock exhibitions stayed open till noon attracting many entries. Races across classes are well filled and promise excellent competition. Albany played Nelsonville in Wednesday forenoon, drawing a large crowd. full fair coverage will appear next week. Ohio State Fair Opens Sept 2 1895 At Columbus
The Ohio state fair and industrial exposition at Columbus will run September 2 3 4 5 and 6 1895 with enhanced facilities and new attractions. A powerful electric plant will light all avenues and buildings daily and nightly, race track events and band concerts will entertain each day and night. Railways offer reduced fares and frequent trips from Union Depot via Big 4 line and electric streetcars to fair gates.
