Narrow Escape After Runaway Surrey Crash
Last Saturday evening five men Squire BE Rose James A Miller Hadley Dalton and George Earnhart rode to Albany for an IOOF meeting. A broken neck yoke strap caused the horses to bolt the surrey overturned near Mr John Fisher's. Miller and Earnhart were tossed out Rose received a black eye while Dalton was jerked loose. All escaped serious injury though bruises and soreness were common.
