Funeral for Samuel Finsterwald Held After Train Tragedy
Samuel Finsterwald of Columbus was struck by a passenger train on the Hocking Valley tracks near his home Saturday morning. He died that afternoon at Mount Carmel hospital at age 73. Funeral services were held in W. A. Hibbard's chapel in Athens and burial followed in the old cemetery. he leaves a wife and a brother John Finsterwald of Athens.
