Logan City Board of Education rehired several employees at a session in East School. Janitors, bus drivers, lunch room staff, and office personnel were brought back for the year. luncheon prices were set at 30 cents daily and 1.50 weekly at Jr and Sr high, 30 cents daily and 1.35 weekly at elementary schools. A blueprint course for North American Aviation Corp. employees in Columbus was approved, consisting of 48 hours over 12 weeks starting Sept 8.

Logan County records a third polio case for the year as Ralph Farrar 13 of Logan Route 3 is diagnosed positive at Children’s Hospital Columbus after being sent there Monday night.
