Death of David W Williams in Athens OH
David W Williams died suddenly at his West Union street home on Saturday at noon after leaving work at city scales twenty four hours earlier. Born April 22, 1982 in New York, he spent much of life in Meigs county and the last thirteen years in Athens. He married Harriet Ann McGrath in 1831 and then Martha Bradshaw in 1891. four children were born, only Gyms Danforth Williams survives in Bowhells North Dakota. Funeral services were held Monday at home led by Rev G Walton King and Rev T L Lowe with burial at Gursvyhie by Masonic lodge. his sister in law Mrs Charlee Pidcock died minutes earlier.

Death of Mrs Martha Brown Near Wingett Chapel
Mrs Marsha Brown wife of E E Brown died Sunday afternoon after a long illness at age sixty five. She had lived most of her life in the Wingett Chapel area and was highly esteemed by neighbors. Funeral services were held at the Presbyterian church near Hebbardsville Tuesday forenoon conducted by Rev J H Kirkpatrick with interment in the local cemetery.
