Signs Must Conform Or Ohio Loses
State Sen. Harry Meshel warns Ohio could lose 1.8 million dollars in federal highway funds if billboard and sign laws do not meet the Federal Highway Act of 1970. The act bars signs within 660 feet of a highway and covers 75 percent removal costs with states covering 25 percent.
