Finch Parole Granted Despite Board Reservations
Dr. Bernard Finch, center of a 1959 love triangle murder, is set for release from California Institute for Men at Chino on December 6 after 12 years behind bars. Some parole officials had reservations, but the 53 year old physician will be freed with job options in Missouri Nebraska Maryland and California. Carole Tregoff, his former sweetheart who was convicted with him, was paroled earlier. Superintendent Bertam Griggs described Finch as elated and not bitter.
