Bank of Athens Clock Restored to Full Use Treats City
The Bank of Athens clock returns to the Athens downtown landscape after a six week overhaul. Westminster chimes mark each quarter hour while the bronze frame, copper cap accents, and restored nameplates bring back the landmark first erected in 1924 at a cost around 1900.
