Athens County 4-H Advisor Rhonda Meeks Reflects on County Ties
Rhonda Meeks, originally from Pickaway County and now long based in Athens County, has taught at Alexander Schools and leads Lodi Creative Critters 4-H. She describes hosting nightly mock showmanship contests to train youth for fair beef shows, with four of her 4-Hers claiming top spots at the Athens County Fair. Meeks, a retired teacher, says she loves working with kids and being part of a close-knit community while seeking more activities for youth in the county.
