A new sight seeing bus service operates at the Pontiac plant of the Oakland Motor Car company to spare visitors long walks through the factory. A 12 passenger bus takes guests through engine, assembly, and storage areas with a driver narrator, cutting a two hour tour to under thirty minutes.
Nearly 12 000 sets of lights were examined for defects such as faulty focus, reflectors, broken lenses, or improper brightness. Half the cars failed to focus lights correctly, revealing widespread issues across the tested fleet.
Theft insurance rates on all Chrysler models have been reduced by an average of more than nine percent nationwide, projecting savings of about two million dollars for Chrysler owners. Rates reflect insurance experience data showing Chrysler cars have unusually low theft losses. The Underwriters Laboratories tested numbering methods and found Fedco plates cannot be altered or counterfeited, listing the Fedcco system as the solution.
The Chrysler corporation announced approval of the Fedco system as a fundamental anti theft measure. Cars leaving factories after July 1 1925 will carry the Fedco number plate. White tops cooler in Bureau of Mines tests show white car tops reduce heat by up to 12 degrees when linked airflow is used.
