Ohio fishing outlook shows overall low angling activity
Division of Wildlife notes anglers are at a yearly low across Ohio with fair to poor lake and stream conditions and very light fishing pressure. Highlights include central lakes such as Kiser and Delware with fair to good bass and bluegill in some reservoirs, northeastern waters with fair stream fishing, and western pockets like Rocky Fork Lake and Englewood Dam showing sporadic success. Lake Erie and Sandusky Bay rely on weather with white bass perch and smallmouth bites around Bass Island and Catawba Island areas.
